Hida Takayama Sight-seeing "Takayama Jinya"

At present, this complex is one of the sight-seeing spots in Hida Takayama. Probably, the Japanese sight-seers and foreigners would feel a sense of nostalgia for old Japan in here.

This was the official facility of the “Tokugawa Authority” in the Hida region, in medieval days.

The important thing is that this “Takayama Jinya” was the Gifu Pref.’s local branch in my childhood. 

My friends and I often stole the local government’s stationery from the small warehouse of “Takayama Jinya”, which was in the backyard. Fortunately in my childhood, time passed slowly, like floating clouds. In those days, Gifu government officials never paid attention to the kids who were criminals.

We, “Takayama Kids” freely stole color pencils, official slips etc. But that stuff was useless for the kids who did not have the motivation to study hard with the stolen stationery. In the end, we probably threw away that stationery.

And, “Takayama Jinya” was utilized as the Takayama branch of Gifu Pref. government. And there were nothing there, apart from Gifu Pref. office equipment and unused agricultural machinery in a big warehouse.

I love my Takayama ; Hida Takayama’s sight-seeing marketing is like “putting two long fake ears on a mouse”. It seems to be a mouse, but Hida Takayama tends to insist that it is not a mouse but a rabbit in order to make money. Because Hida Takayama does not have any leading industry apart from sight-seeing.

All the mass media in Japnan have recently taken up one issue; a lot of famous food companies have lied about the production date of their products. And the Japanese mass media are claiming such companies have betrayed the consumer’s trust.

But this is a strange thing. You may know that the Japanese mass media does not tell the truth about anything. The Japanese mass media is under government control in Japan.

So, the Japanese have believed the government propaganda, ever since Japan was established. The level of censorship in Japan is almost the same as Chinese censorship.

By the way, there was a district court house on the left in the picture.

So, I am perhaps the only person who takes care of justice in Hida Takayama. I have to reveal and send the true story about “My Hida Takayama” to the world.

It’s my duty, but I was formerly a “thief kid”.
