The crime rate is skyrocketing here in Takayama. Only this year, my acquaintances committed crimes, and were captured by the local Takayama police. One acqueintance stole money from a house and became an official burglar.
Another is a former customer. He committed fraud. And every day, some Takayama citizens become criminals. The local newspapers have been filled with reports of such newly arrived criminals.
And, I worry that one of my relatives should become one of the criminals.
But, I think that the negligence of Japanese politicians has produced this disastrous increase in crime.
Now in Japan, formerly meek people have to turn to crime, in order to make ends meet.
Actually, the Japanese social systems and morality have recently broken down.
And the Central government don’t provide enough money to local governmens any more.
Some autonomous governments have started to slash their welfare services, cut subsidiaries to people, and hike property tax.
It is a matter of time; Japan has become like one of the Latin American countries.
A different topic.
I think that people have to advance during their life time, rather to say, we can not help coming across unknown situations during our life time. In that sense, in the end all human activities in the present might have been recorded as a sort of trial hit & miss, in history books.
Anyway, those who move forward to unknown frontiers might be called pioneers.
Someone might become a helpful businessman in a community.
Others might become criminals.
As I can’t write abstract English writing, I shall quit this topic.
By the way, this blog’s ranking has been sinking in the search engines, so what should I do?
I am beginning my business “Selling Online”, because I exported “Maneki Neko” to Canada properly via international postal service from Japan.
So, is there anybody who wants my “Maneki Neko”?
P.S.
I have to insert my words as usual for the search engines: Japanese Antiques & Crafts, Manga, Ninja, Takayama Japan and “Criminal Utopia in Hida Takayama”.
